So far.
Day 1, 2 and 3 - Clearly in Microsoft's favour, FTC was screwed in those days, their expert witness was awful.
Day 4 - More 50/50, a fairly boring and uneventful day, Satya was wasted by FTC, Bobby dodged them but the FTC lawyer did better at baiting him, the male FTC lawyer is absolute garbage, the woman is a lot better but still they've not proven in any way that this deal is anti-consumer or anti-competitive and since the burden of proof is on the FTC, a draw is NOT a good thing, they need a clear win.
I think Microsoft's 2nd expert witness was fairly uneventful but FTC kept trying to discredit him and ask him shit he wasn't even paid to research, Microsoft's 1st expert witness was the best by far, I will say though that this dude's purpose was to discredit FTC's expert witness but FTC's expert witness already discredited themselves, Lol.
There's Phil and Satya committing under oath to CoD on PlayStation, Jim Ryan saying Nintendo is a competitor, Google and Nvidia saying Cloud competes with Console. I don't see any chance that FTC can win this and Microsoft has 4 more testimonies to call, including Nintendo, Lol.
day four of FTC v. Microsoft is over. Tomorrow there will be testimony from Xbox CFO Tim Stuart, Microsoft CFO Amy Hood by written declaration, and Steve Singer, SVP of developer relations at Nintendo, by video deposition.
