FTC trying to discredit him as a witness. Smartest thing they've done so far. Would be a big blow.

The real issue with those expert fees is that the FTC and the CMA basically created an Economic Expert Full Employment Program with their overenforcement, requiring the merging parties to explain things that should have been obvious after the first few weeks of a review.
