I long suspected this and now it's nice to have confirmation. I wonder how many sales they have lost investing into the cloud, and I would imagine it is somewhere in the millions at this point.

But it makes me laugh. Why protect Sony in the Console market when even Microsoft are crippling themselves in it?!
