I wouldn't put it past the US to turn a blind eye. It's not like we haven't secretly or unofficially worked with terrible people before in pursuit of a bigger goal. Though publicly it may hurt support of the war.

You're right about not going well with the Ukrainian public but Zelensky has incredible political capital with his people at the moment. The spin of the enemy of my enemy could work.

Still, this isn't going to happen. Priogozhin has no reason to trust Ukraine or the West. And as you said the political fallout from a potential alliance could be too great. There is also little reason Ukraine to make such a deal, it's just as good for them for Wagner and Russian military to kill each other.

Yeah, I agree that publicly it could hurt support, especially since Wagner is a well known brutal mercenary company which even attacked US Soldiers once before (although, no US soldiers were killed and they fucking demolished the Wagner forces that attacked them). There's also the issue of Wagner's 2nd in command having the Nazi tattoos and shit, Lol.

Yeah, Zelensky might be able to spin it, a bit risky.

Prigozhin even now is talking about destroying Ukraine though, Lol. Dunno, like you said, them killing each other works out just as good. Think of it like Ukraine could reach out to Prigozhin/Wagner for an alliance who will then be attacking Russia but they're already (supposedly) attacking Russia right now so there's little need for an official alliance, let them destroy each other while Ukraine continues to focus on its planned counter-offensive.

Maybe we'll see the Russian volunteer group who are aiding Ukraine splitting off from Ukraine to go help Wagner...
