They are amazing. Persona is a spinoff of SMT. While both are turn-based. Share the same demons. Have Demon fusing. SMT is closer to an M-rated Pokemon and predates Pokemon. Persona is more character and story-focused. It's less about saving the world but making a choice in an already ruined world. Do you kill god? Side with god? Side with Satan or neither and create your own world. Try Nocturne out. SMTV has a different approach than most games. Instead of classic dungeon heavy it has large open environments that act as a massive dungeon. So you can explore. Nocturne is more traditional but still modern enough without going to the older games which are first-person dungeon crawlers. SMT is a lot darker in tone. I really recommend SMTIII Nocturn on PC/Switch/PS4. SMTV us easier for newcomers tho but both have variable difficulty settings. If you played Persona some things will be familiar and a lot will be different. SMT 3 and V you are let loose within 15 min.
