Microsoft actually got the whole 5 days they wanted, while FTC wanted 2.
Feels like every minor court judgement so far, in both America and UK, has ruled in favour of Microsoft.
- FTC finally files an injunction because they have reason to believe Microsoft is moving to "close the deal by June 15th"
- Microsoft wants an expedited hearing; states that the FTC and their stalling is the only thing holding them back from closing
- FTC calls out Microsoft by saying their point for wanting a speedier trial is moot because the CMA already blocked the deal
FTC is really incompetent, it's a no wonder they're losing all their top lawyers and experts recently, "big tech bad" isn't a legal argument.
