Technically Xbox doesn't publish anything now unless they own the IP so I'm not sure if this means it's based on a Microsoft IP because they own it or it's based on a pre-existing Microsoft IP.

Hopefully MS is just giddy at the thought of reviving the Bulletstorm IP!
