Nah man, play the demo. It's so good. I went from 'I'm excited' to 'I need this in my life now'. I do miss the days of turn-based combat but as time goes on I feel that stuff like Octopath and Bravely Default do it better. WE all know that the only reason turn based was a thing was because they couldn't do action based back then. It has its place but as a callback. I love both, and I highly recommend the Demo. Even on Twitter, the cesspit of the internet, I am basically seeing nothing but heaping praise and enthusiasm. |
It would be cool to have something like team Ryu Ga Gotoku seems to be doing with the Yakuza franchise. Make one series with turn based combat and one with free action.
