Metroid Prime & Metroid Dread running with over 120fps on PC via Nintendo Switch Emulators
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/metroid-prime-metroid-dread-running-with-over-120fps-on-pc-via-nintendo-switch-emulators/
YouTube’s ‘theboy181’ has shared two videos, showcasing Metroid Prime and Metroid Dread running on PC via the Nintendo Switch emulators with 120fps.
For those unaware, by default, Metroid Prime and Metroid Dread are locked at 60fps on Nintendo Switch. However, thanks to community patches, PC gamers can enjoy these two games with really high framerates.
Now what’s really cool here is that these mods completely fix the speed issues that these two games had with unlocked framerates. As such, when playing them with 120fps, both of them now have the correct speed and physics. Not only that, but the mod for Metroid Dread also unlocks the framerate of its cut-scenes.
Unfortunately, theboy181 has not shared these mods yet with the public. The modder claims that they’re waiting for the Ryujinx developers to fix some things and add support for them. So yeah, that’s a bummer.

New fanmade Quake map pack turns the classic shooter into a pacifist platformer fueled by vibes
https://www.pcgamer.com/new-fanmade-quake-map-pack-turns-the-classic-shooter-into-a-pacifist-platformer-fueled-by-vibes/
Quake modding site Slipgate Sightseer has released an entire episode's worth of maps for the classic FPS with no combat to speak of. The Explore Jam 3 map pack follows in the footsteps of previous pacifist community jams on the Quaddicted Quake fan site, and offers 14 levels entirely focused on platforming and exploration.

Fallout: New Vegas mod gives your eyebot companion an upgradeable sombrero, mustache
https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-new-vegas-mod-gives-your-eyebot-companion-an-upgradeable-sombrero-mustache/
The first follower you're likely to find in Fallout: New Vegas is ED-E, a happy-beeping bundle of mechanical joy who used to be one of the Enclave's eyebots but, with some repairs, can become the Courier's constant and vigilant companion instead. But what if ED-E was actually… ED-UARDO?
This mod by Diegonom gives your faithful robot companion a makeover, adding a jaunty sombrero complete with feather and a headband full of bullets. He'll also get a different mustache based on whether you choose to have ED-UARDO upgraded by the Followers of the Apocalypse, which improves his weapon, or by the Brotherhood of Steel, which improves his armor.
Now, I know what you're thinking. "What about the duplicate model eyebot you find during the Lonesome Road add-on?" Don't worry, the ED-UARDO mod generously gives the ED-E clone a sombrero too.

Command or conquer armies of Strogg in this ambitious Quake RTS mod
https://www.pcgamer.com/command-or-conquer-armies-of-strogg-in-this-ambitious-quake-rts-mod/
I've always thought the sci-fi universe seen in Quake 2 and 4 would make a strong basis for an RTS. Whereas the original game's setting is a hazy mix of fantasy and futurism that emerged from its troubled development, the sequel had a much more coherent identity. Its interstellar war between human soldiers and Strogg cyborgs felt incredibly fleshed out for a shooter at the time, and while it may seem staid after years of shooters about space marines, I've always had a soft spot for it.
Which is why Sudden Quake grabbed my attention like a Strogg berserker driving its arm-spike through a space marine's chest. It's a mod for the obscure World War 2 RTS Sudden Strike 3, but it replaces all those grey Nazi tanks with the various human and Strogg forces as portrayed in 1997's Quake 2, and Raven's 2005 shooter Quake 4.
Created by modder Kane Peterson, Sudden Quake had its initial release back in February, but has just received a meaty update adding a bunch of new features. "Sudden Strike 3 has no population limit and handles huge amounts of destruction and craters," writes Peterson on the game's ModDB page. "This is carried through into Sudden Quake. This means enormous battles between thousands of marines and monstrous cyborgs, with no limit to the scale of the destruction."
The mod's still in active development, but it already has a fair amount of playable content. Alongside the two campaigns of the original version of the mod, this second version adds five additional custom maps (bringing the total to six), and introduces new units like a marine hovertank. The mod also features a bunch of unique mechanics, like Strogg orbital drops and jet packs for the Marines.

Take a look at The Last of Us Part I with DLSS 3 Frame Generation
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/take-a-look-at-the-last-of-us-part-i-with-dlss-3-frame-generation/
Modder “PureDark” has shared a new video, showcasing The Last of Us Part I with NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 Frame Generation. The Last of Us Part I is a CPU-heavy game and as we can see, DLSS 3 Frame Generation can significantly improve its overall performance on PC.
In this video, PureDark used an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070Ti in order to highlight the performance improvements that DLSS 3 brings to the table. As we can see, the RTX 4070Ti is running the game with framerates between 60-70fps. By enabling DLSS 3, players can expect to almost double their framerates. With DLSS 3 enabled, the RTX 4070Ti can hit framerates higher than 100fps.
PureDark plans to release this mod to his Patreon members in a couple of days. Unfortunately, though, there is no word on whether we’ll see a public version of it. That’s a bummer as it would be a shame to hide this must-have mod behind a Patreon wall.
>> The video is less than three minutes long.

PC Requirements for Unreal Engine 5-powered Lords of the Fallen
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/pc-requirements-for-unreal-engine-5-powered-lords-of-the-fallen/
CI Games has revealed the official PC system requirements for its upcoming Unreal Engine 5-powered Souls-like game, Lords of the Fallen.
For gaming at 720p with Low Quality Settings, CI Games suggest using an Intel i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX-1060 or AMD Radeon RX 590. Surprisingly enough, the game will support both the DX11 and DX12 APIs.
For gaming at 1080p High Settings, CI Games recommends an NVIDIA RTX-2080 or AMD Radeon RX 6700. From the looks of it, the game won’t be as VRAM-hungry game as the recent PC titles. I mean, CI Games recommends 8GB VRAM for 1080p/High Settings.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
