This just makes Nintendo/Sony look ultra petty and non caring at the same time.
Like stop wasting time, effort and cash on the dream that you can squash piracy/emulation, because you just can't. I wish corps would stop actively showing how petty and stupid they can be, that they would rather try to shut down some randoms on the net trying to homebrew, than I dunno, making sure their games are still being sold, so you don't have to fucking homebrew your console?.
This is why I hate Nintendo in terms of game preservation, because they absolutely do not care for it (even Switch's "roms" they have are tied to being subbed to Switch online and require a net connection to even play them, which is bullshit).
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
