Wagner group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin admits 20,000 of his fighters were killed in the battle for Bakhmut.

10,000 recruited prisoners and 10,000 Wagner mercenaries. The true number is likely higher.

Either way you look at it, a huge loss for the Russian side in this war.

20,000 killed at minimum for a tiny city and so Prigozhin can get his pay cheque.
