It's actually pretty obvious. Also you've played botw how do you not know how to get a stick they're everywhere. I've never seen someone have so many opinions about a game without even finishing the tutorial section. I'm all for you sharing your opinions but maybe actually progress past the tutorial before talking anymore about it? |
I just assumed that you could make sticks out of trees with the opened up crafting, which would make sense. More so than triangular shaped rocks turning into axe heads. But I found sticks and triangular rocks and can cut trees again. They're not everywhere, they do drop from trees when you cut them down. Chicken egg problem ;) The game seems to remember the resources you picked up (on Sky island) but not the stuff you made. All the cut down trees are back, but no apples nor sticks from those anymore.
Not my design that the tutorial takes as long as HZD's 'tutorial' area. I don't have that much time to play so still wandering around on Sky Island. And yes, I do have opinions on game's opening sections, the first impressions that are supposed to entice you to keep playing. So far, just like HZD, it's failing at that. BotW's 'tutorial' was much more engaging.
