That's the issue. The "fanbase" of the Wii U is/was 13.5 million, the Switch is way over 120 million. Saying "people won't change now" is kind of a silly excuse to me. If the console has great killer apps, it will sell. That was always the rule. Not releasing significant games over a year and then "yeah we wouldn't sell much anyway" is a weird conclusion. Like when EA said "our data showed people are more playing Madden and the Sims on PS and Xbox rather than the Switch" (cause they aren't on the Switch)
