No, it did not at launch, it got destroyed and they "updated" most reviews after, that's not a bad example at all.

No no I recall checking its score when it launched, and saw that CDPR devs wouldn't have their bonus since it didn't score 90+ but in the high 80s.

This article from December 2020 for eg: https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidthier/2020/12/15/cyberpunk-2077-on-console-has-one-of-the-lowest-metacritic-scores-this-year/?sh=25c6f2c55dfc

A few days after launch and Cyberpunk 2077 finally has enough critic scores to have a real Metacritic score on Xbox One and PS4, and it’s not pretty. While the PC version continues to put up a good front with a respectable 89 based on early access reviews...

Maybe Metacritic was not too bad for the PC version then but the point still stands. Let's not argue and derail the topic anyway with that.
Back to the point, 4 for Redfall is just not right, and you can argue as much as you want if this is due to a bias or not; that's my opinion and this new tendency to follow the trend to get clicks is really annoying lately. If you think overwise, that's fine too.
