Seeing all these shader stutters/compilation issues, combined with the fact that I also cannot afford current gen GPU's, makes me sorta glad I'm in this current stage, because it means I get to avoid all this fuckery.
That and indie games just have that charm and cheaper price tags/modding, while these AAA games are stuttering to hell, demand more power and seemingly boil some GPU's to breaking point for some extra shininess to them.
