This is gonna sound like some major copium. But it's important to note that Twitter and especially VGC are such an insignificant bubble. Overall, MS is doing so exceptionally well, despite the UK decision, their stock price is climbing. It's easy to fall into this bubble we are in, I'm guilty of it as well. I remember last year after the MS conference I believe they had a poll over which was the best game they showed. From what I remember, Eiyuden Chronicles won over Forza Horizon 5...

Goes to show that VGC, twitter, etc doesn't have the sway that carries in reality.

Microsoft stock price is soaring because of the great financial results, their investors really don't care about this, Lol.

But yeah it's a bubble, fanboys going to fanboy, ignore it and play some games, Xbox ain't going nowhere as much as they'd love that

Xbox business is healthy and growing, that's all that ultimately matters, even if long term ambitions have suffered a set back.

Lol not that it matters given the CMA decision, but do you know EC's current mindset as of now?

Reportedly leaning towards approval, EC unlike CMA accepts behavioural remedies pretty regularly and EC in my experience is the least easily swayed but if the mood is to block big tech from making a large acquisition then now would be the chance to get a W on that because there's no way that Microsoft will fight EC and CMA.

EC Spokesperson commenting on the ABK deal last year said that there's a very high chance of approval with behavioural remedies though.
