What I have read though, is that CMA appeals are a lot shorter than EC ones (EC appeals can sometimes take years), and due to the size of the deal, Microsoft can expedite the appeal process, I'd be surprised if this deal is over this year now though, Microsoft will have to re-negotiate with Activision-Blizzard on the closure date and now they might as well wait for the FTC process to play out. |
CMA already changed their mind about console market already and they expect an appeal of course. I think they'll work out something with cloud concerns too and CMA ends up looking strong even if they eventually approve.
Not everything in UK is failing thought. Beans on toast didn't! Just tried it last week at a hotel breakfast, it looked awful but taste was quite good. Would've been better if those beans weren't flavored with dill. Fuck dill, it's the CMA of herbs.
