More streamlined vision as a LBP game that has expanded past being 2D (yes I know Sackboy adventures exists), is thematically LBP based (but with more artistic variations like also the Dreams feel), and Sackboy is front and centre instead of that Imp thing, oh and co-op. I dunno... I feel like this allows them to continue both IP going forward and to allow Dreams to be rebooted/ retooled with a clear cut from the original.
at least the vitriol isn't TloU2 levels... but it is frustrating. But honestly, that's a them problem. |
A game that follows upon Dreams and LBP could have success. I would go with Sackboy Adventures as core of SP game and Dreams for the create your "DLC" and standalone "Dreams 2" going the route of roblox/minecraft with more PC tools where it is easier to develop the games.
Regarding the review bombing I'm pretty much conservative and do think the percentage of identity politics in media is much higher than their real world counterparts but also understand that some of that is overcompensation for all the time those topics were completely ignored or even antagonized. So When it is forced or explicit sexual relation I may frown, but most of the time it is just a relationship between people that doesn't make much difference if was straight or any other combination so I don't mind it and in the case of TLOU2 (can't comment on HFW DLC since I didn't play yet) I even stand for what they done as it all made a lot of sense (with exception of someone choosing identity over survival, like getting banned from the group because of "gender politics" as I believe in a apocalyptical scenario these would be low in the priority of people and probably wouldn't even be topics of discussion, as I also believe the reason we can discuss these a lot nowadays is because most of the basic needs and problems are more or less covered, but since it is a work of fiction I don't really mind they choosing it to show prejudice and things like that).
