if the Activision Blizzard deal goes through, I really hope Microsoft leans into the Battle net PC launcher rather than the Xbox app. I've never had an issue downloading or installing games through Battle net, and way prefer the UI, download manager, and app responsiveness pic.twitter.com/EJUzjZOTC4

I think they're still held up by the store and the silly UWP app push they did. Xbox should just break off and do their own thing at this point

Tired of this, they've been promising for like 6 years now to improve this. Xbox really needs to just create their own store, completely cut off from Windows Store, it's my understanding that even though Xbox App is separate to Windows Store, the backend is still inherently linked to Windows Store. I mean like, it's either put Game Pass PC on Steam, massively improve your own store, or accept that Game Pass PC will be severely limited.
