A must see for everyone. Granted He seems to have similar disdain for most games this generation though really that speaks more about the kind of games the market is willing to settle for as AAA quality this era in gaming.
Penny Arcade's similar review of the game seems to suggest that the game's love from fans lies largely in its presentation and overall ambiguity as a game. Disect the game as individual parts and its easily to see much of it is nothing impressive, in fact, arguably dissapointing, however slap it together in a fancy presentation and even the most reserved gamer will second guess their reservations on the game. But that's just my sumation of the situation.
Either way it is refreshing to see people actually sharing their opinions of the game's value which is all too often equated to such abstracts as its benefit to PS3 or its sales. So much talk about this game would suggest it wasn't even a game people personally liked but rather saw as an avatar for Sony or the PS3 worth defending. I'm glad to see people voicing actual opinions of the game's quality and value. While the thread itself is a bit slanted as a forum for objective discussion it was in all fairness never intended to be such and a more open ended discussion would have no doubt ensued in more nitpicking of the game typical of most discussion already seen on Vgchartz.
