But even so, the fact that a Zelda game is able to reach those levels and actually give the PS1 Final Fantasy games a run for their money - That thought would have been straight up laughable pre-Switch launch. Yet, here we are and it's a reality. And every sign and indication is that Tears of the Kingdom will do monstrous numbers as well. Absolutely incredible!

Well the best selling Zelda game globally was TP with 8.85m before right? So it's growth outside Japan is significantly larger than inside Japan and even more impressive. 246% higher globally than previous best compared to 106% higher in Japan.
