As far as country assistance go, training is probably the most efficient thing you can do all things considered. It magnify any other form of help you can give them. Make sure they are well equiped, supplied and provided with food is also also paramount to Ukraine sucess but only as efficient as the quality of their training goes.
On personal level their is probably organisation close to you which you can volunteer. My other half did so last year, her task was as simple as to sort local public donation which was then sent to Ukraine.
