I was thinking about 7950X3D but I am not liking all of the issues surrounding it when it comes to which CCD the scheduler puts the games into. Cause if it puts the games or application into the wrong CCD, there's a pretty big penalty in performance. And while the productivity will take a hit, my job environment has changed so I don't really need 16 cores anymore.

Also Intel did fix the issue with a later patch:
