get out.

I guess I'd just say that Halo 3 is a very casual game compared to Metroid Prime 3.  I could list a ton of reasons, but the biggest being that the game aims for you, egregiously, and that the level of challange overall is lower (bosses, enemies move slower, target points are larger, etc).

I don't know.  I own both -- that's just my impression.  And you?

It depends what type of casual you mean.  If you mean people who like to play core-like games every once in a while (Madden, Halo players) than yes Metroid is more hardcore.

If you mean people who play for hours and hours honing their skills, than more of those people are attracted to Halo 3 because it is competitive and is pretty on a big screen.  Metroid is not competitive and is not as pretty on a big screen.

If we are only talking about controls, yes Metroid is more Hardcore.  A little bit harder to pick up, but once you have it down you have way more control.

Unfortunately, they didn't include multiplayer and if they had it would have been missing Live, PSN, EAnation like elements, it would not have been coming off of Halo 2 one of the most popular games of last gen, it would not have been the game that "everyone" was waiting for, and still would not have been as successful.

I'm going to go play, MP3 Sins of a Solar Empire right now.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
