 No it isn´t PC gaming will never be as good as console gaming and i am not talking about graphics.

The only genre that make PC better are strategy games and that can change with the wii mote.

 

-FPS, RTS, and RPG all are better on PC because of the mouse and the amount of inputs for hotkeys.  The Wiimote has even less inputs than a standard controller, and thus will never be comparable to PC in RTS and RPG genres, since they require heavy use of hotkeys. The only games that are better on PC of theese are the ones that heavily rely on hotbuttons but if you can play with out then the upcoming motes for various consoles will give the pc a run for their money, also today you can connect M & K to consoles and use theese hotbuttons so even this small favorable thing for pc´s is not valid anymore.

-Online is lightyears ahead of consoles on PCs. Only relevant if you are going to play online with others and I was never talking about that and Online for games is an addon to the gameplay and not a necesity to play a game

-You can plug in a gamepad for anything that plays better with them. Doesn´t mutter how many gamepads or whatever you plug in because it will always be a better experience on consoles when you have to use gamepad.

-graphics are better, framerate is better, games are cheaper allready said in my post I wasn´t talking about graphics which improves games but not that much that it makes the same game on consoles a lesser experience if it is made properly.

-you can buy all your games online and download them straight to your computer without having to ever leave the house Couldn´t care less and doesn´t improve game experience. This will be available for consoles with time.

-you can play games without changing CDs Does not enhance gameplay and you never or almost never vhange cd´s on consoles

and still none of those things can make the gaming experience half as good as gaming on consoles.

I said in my post that I was not including graphics in to that statement.

As a gaming experience consoles beat PC and has done so since mid 90´s, doesn´t mutter that you have better framerate becasuse it is not that much better that it makes the console experience lesser and the same goes for online.

One thing the PC can never achieve which makes the experience better on consoles is the actuall experience to play on a console wich is made for your gaming only and nothing else.
