The other part of me is just happy to have been able to have experienced it and wants to trade it in towards the next gaming experience while the value is still high. If I replay it, it won't be on a harder level that's for sure. I'm playing on the normal difficulty now and that's plenty hard for me. I don't get a lot of satisfaction in the massochistic exercise of beating games on the hardest difficulty. That's not fun for me. Prime example...Guitar Hero 3. I've beaten almost all of the songs on expert, but few of them were fun. It felt like work. I was just forcing myself to beat them. If I play for fun, I play on hard. |
I feel the same way. I think I'm going to put the game down and play part 2 and 3 then pick it back up. The only other MG game I've beaten was solid 1.

I've actually beaten all of the earlier entries, but the problem is that I did that right when they came out. MGS3 is still relatively fresh in my mind, but not MGS2. Forget about the original. I don't remember a damn thing. I'm actually finding myself needing to consult the internet when a name or a place is mentioned during the story that I don't remember the significance.
Keep this in mind when reading what I type...
I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
