Yup. I'm not gonna say it's gonna surpass Wii sales this year, but microsoft looks like a lead block, right now. If sony shows that they are a super lean sports car and rocks E3. The press will lean for the PS3 over the 360. People will buy the PS3 for GTA4, and such for the holiday seasons. That means the PS3 could very easily sell out. If the PS3 starts selling out, That puts it in direct running with the Wii. If it is in direct running with the Wii, the Wii will become the 'casual' system, and the PS3 will become the gamer system. Thus possibly leaving the Wii with more sales, and more profit, but a totally diffrent 'niche' The PS3 is for gamers, while the Wii would be left for everyone else.

The press are turning on Nintendo, saying they need to put effort showing their 'gamer games' and not their cash-cow casual games. Because I think the game press is starting to look at the Wii like a plauge.

EDIT: I just want to point out, I say GAME PRESS. Not general press. Casual gamers, dont subscribe to magazines, casual gamers dont check websites every-day for updates, casual gamers dont make Gamer 'press' companies money. Nintendo is going 100% casual. Casual = no money for gamer press.
