Is the build quality of these things still shit?

I have a few and they are still going strong.  Why do you believe they are bad.  I did have a drift issue with the first Elite but open it up and fixed it.

Heard a lot of stories about Series 1 having awful build quality, lots of breaking, lots of drift issues that happen quickly.

Tempted to buy the blue one but not if it's going to fuck up in a few months.
