Finished Forbidden West on PS5, got the platinum. I think I’m the end I feel the same as I did for the first game. Graphics were incredible, probably the best console graphics we have seen yet. Core gameplay loop of shooting up robot dinosaurs is fun. Everything else, kind of meh. Writing is still terrible, and the art is laughably bad. Did they do AI art like High on Life did? Some of the costumes are just.. yikes.
Side quests are way better than the first game. Hunting Grounds were my favorite part of the first game and they seem like an afterthought here. Human combat still sucks.
Overall, 7/10. Pretty good but flawed.
