People talk about monopolies but the Independent gaming scene is at it's strongest ever, if you are a talented developer with credits to your name then there isn't a better time to think about going your own way and starting your own studio.
What pleases me more is how strong the single player games market is right now even EA and Take-Two are investing more in single player games this gen than the last.
