I grew up in 80s with Spiderman comics, but I'm yet to play a Spiderman game that I really liked.
I never cared for Batman comics, but I often played Batman games that I really liked (Batman Arkham Asylum probably being favourite).

Just for the sake of nostalgia, I'll throw in Samurai Warrior: Battles of Usagi Yojimbo from C64 as well.

Odd. Which ones have you played? Spiderman on PS1 was really good for its time. Spider-man 2 (movie tie in) was also quite good. Shattered Dimensions was alright as well. Marvel Spider-man is great.

Probably the NES and SNES Ninja Turtles games. Not too into superheroes.

If manga counts, then DBZ: Kakarot is another favorite.

Yeah sure. I'm not going to stop you from including manga. Been holding out on Kakarot, which has paid off since it will be on PSPlus or premium or whatever soon.

I actually really liked Legacy of Goku 2 on GBA. To be honest, I can't really explain why. It's a weird top down beat em up, but it has a weird sort of charm. Me and my little brother loved Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which is getting a sequel that will hopefully be good.

A lot of people love the Arkham games, I don't. The core 3 are really good, not great. I haven't played Origins yet, so I don't know if it's good or not.
Marvel's Spider-Man is easily the best to me. I love virtually everything about it.
Spider-Man 2 has aged (obviously), but I adored it as a kid. Not at the top (maybe not even the second best), but it's significant.

I really liked Arkham Asylum and City when I first played them but replaying City, it just kind of doesn't hold up as well as I thought. The core is good, but it's just missing the kinds of big moments that really make you feel like you're playing through a comic/movie. Even after playing recently I can't think of any parts where I'm like "oh yeah that was really cool, can't wait to do that again.

I love Spider-man 2 on the cube. It wasn't exactly cutting edge when it came out, particularly in the audiovisual department, but that gives it a clunky charm if you replay it. I really think everyone needs to play this game, because it's the most memeable thing ever, except for the fact that nobody would get the references. I also think the combat is kind of better than the new Spider-man game in some ways. There's a bit more flexibility in the combo system. It's generally not as satisfying as the new game, but you can do some interesting and wacky things. Also, Tobey clearly was not thrilled to be doing voicework for the game, and it's glorious.
