Personally I think it's a bit of a mixed bag, but likely down to poor scheduling, single CCD chips seem to fair much better.

Right now I personally find the non-3D V-Cache of the 7950X to be the better deal... And once Vcache chips are in the market I hope it pushes those prices down a little more and I will do a full system upgrade to the 7950X.
