Finished Hogwarts Legacy!!! My opinion though did not change throughout the time I played. The setting is breathtaking, an amazing world to explore at Hogwarts. Clearly fans made this game (in collectibles).. Gameplay is really solid, stringing combos together as well. One thing I loved that isn't noted too much is I love the AI and how they interact with the character.

Spoiler!
They'll remember things you did throughout the game. If you kill one of their allies, they freakout, which is nice. There's a nice level of panic and urgency is the delivery as well.
Spoiler!
Side quests are a little ehh, but I loved the ending results you can do. Oh, you lost your heirloom? You want it back? Pay me. Or keeping people's beasts if they are stolen (kinda messed up), or just being an overall troll. And they also remember what you did. If you pass them by they'll make a snide comment about how you f'ed them over. A morality system would have been nice.

I was a Hufflepuff, so got the best quest in going to Azkaban. Glad Ravenclaw got fucked over, f that elitist house :)

Companion quests are very endearing and did not expect the level of maturity in some of them. Interesting plots and levels to each of the main 3 companions, and again Trashclaw gets screwed :).

Loved the open world and flying around on the broom, but the South is a little too much. Just didn't really need to be in there. Loved the forbidden forest and hogsmeade though. The lock puzzles got irritating too after awhile. I don't mark down games for optional collectibles, but it's a lot.. a LOT; way too much, but I did like seeing the actual pages of things from the series. Merlin puzzles was excessive to say the least. 95...

Sucks there is no quidditch though. Wish there was more focus on the school aspect, more classes, competing houses, etc.

Main story was pretty serviceable, nothing special. Wasn't that much in terms of big plot twists, but it did keep me engaged. The third big trial was the most memorable trial for me.

Spoiler!
Some stuff added late was clearly there just for fanfare. Flying and ground mounts are very pointless. Especially when broom flying is the undisputed best way to travel minus the fast travel points.

Glad the game is good with finding your way around the game as it's easy to get lost in. Hogwarts is so incredibly detailed. Again, an amazing world to explore.

Finishing up the cheevos now for the 3 other houses. One thing that was disappointing was the technical aspects.. Having to wait in front of a door as it's loading in gets irritating. The further South you go, the worse the game runs as well. Can't wait to see this run on switch lol.

Hopefully they work on more substantial side content and more in depth quests for the hopeful sequel. Quidditch I really need to have in there.

Been a dream to play a game like this since the Playstation games. So happy it sold so well and cannot wait for the sequel!

9.3/10
