Nvidia also did something similar but AMD certainly managed to ramp down a lot faster than Nvidia did. What's interesting is they say they undershipped both CPUs and GPUs but their CPUs never went out of stock and they needed to give big discounts. Hopefully it really teaches them a lesson.
