It can end in one day, Russian troops just have to leave Ukraine. It's as simple as that. But if you think it's the attacked country which has to offer something I may also break in your home and you might give me half of what you have because, you know, it's also your fault!

Sadly even more extreme than that.

More like if someone broke into someone else's home and then proceeded to rape and kill all members of their family living there aside from the homeowner, then their neighbours demanded that they negotiated with the rapist/murderer and gave them half of their house for "peace"

The ONLY thing is that Russia has nukes but I'm fed up of the nuke fearmongering as well.

Other people already had good responses to that odd post, so I will just point out that even Russia has stopped the nuke fearmongering.

Russia was convinced to stop by somebody, so it had to have been something serious.

I imagine 2 scenarios happened to make them stop.

1. Nato threatened to straight up join the war with preemptive strikes if they kept fearmongering.

or

2. Nato revealed the quality and quantity of their nukes and perhaps China chimed in too.
