Same here! I’m a bigger RTS fan than 4X, but I played Civilization for years!! One of the few games I played with my dad growing up. So I’m stoked to see what a new, yet familiar, take on the genre will be like!
Civ V is my favorite, and Oxide Games has really touted themselves as the studio built on top of Civ V devs.
