So, from the little I've seen, the new non-X CPUs from AMD have made the X parts almost redundant as they're within 5% in most tests, much less in gaming, while being cheaper and using a lot less power.
Also, today is a sad day for those of us that grew in a time when motherboards had no sound chips or they were attrocious, and we dreamed of having a Sound Blaster card:
