Do I think Microsoft has a chance to win a generation? Sure, why not. Microsoft has learned alot over the years and also created some very nice innovations such as LIVE. Microsoft has the best library right now, a comfortable controller.
If Microsoft can learn from past mistakes, (RROD mainly, balance out more between audiences like hardcore and casual, etc) use the 360 to get the Japanese on board with more RPG's and such and I honestly believe Microsoft can be a force to be reckon with next time around.
