SCOOP: Microsoft says it made a mistake (!) when it said in a filing last month that the FTC's very structure--and the court hearing the Activision antitrust suit--violate the U.S. Constitution

Has pulled that explosive argument, as has Activisionhttps://t.co/1AIyPZdWRo
There is no way that was a mistake.
And the amended answer was filed the same day of the pre-hearing. So, my guess would that they are doing it as a sign of good faith because they are restarting negotiations or seriously trying to.

Idas certainly seems to think it wasn't a mistake, sounds like a tactic, something along the lines of Microsoft making a threat (accusing the FTC of violating the Constitution like others have) and then taking it back soon after as to say "we'll take back what we said, we won't back those other companies statements against you if you come back and work with us" is how I'm reading it.
Huge difference between Axon and those other companies accusing the FTC of violating the constitution and a gigantic corporation like Microsoft with a huge amount more power and influence, I now wonder if FTC don't want Microsoft backing those companies and we're back at the negotiation table.
