For a comparable clock increase on top of a 13% IPC uplift, that seems OK to me. I'm sure if you standardize clocks across both CPUs you'll see at least a 40% or so better efficiency from the newer node.

That being said, I'm more interested in the 7900X3D parts, which follow a sort of big/little approach, but in reverse. That's a smart way of maximizing gaming vs. productivity while keeping manufacturing costs and power consumption at bay.
