Those "market corrections" can be a blessing or a curse, and sometimes even both, and the results can be unpredictable. We may end with Nvidia leaving it even more reinforced that it is right now, and that would be devasting for us, consumers. In any case, the first one that needs to be hit hard is TSMC for raising its prices two or three times during the last couple of years, f*cking everyone else as a result. Thankfully, that seems to have started already. |
Higher prices at TSMC does open a door for Samsung, Intel and Global Foundries to pick up contracts, it will only bite TSMC in the foot.
During the Crypto boom, the silicon shortage, all foundries and chip designers could get away with robbing the market... Because they could sell everything they made... And now that is coming to an end.
Honestly, I don't see how nVidia could be worst on the pricing front than they are now, they are already pushing PC gamers out of the market and towards consoles.

What's your problem with Fallout 4? Too much shooting and too few RPG mechanics? About the Homeworld collection, I'm pleased to know that the mechanics are simple. And the way you worded that makes it looks like one of those games that are "easy to pick but hard to master". In any case, I have the advantage: I'm not being a PC gamer, I'm just someone that happens to play on PC |
Just couldn't get into it. I don't think it had the tight narrative story like Fallout 1+2 and it wasn't a massive overhaul in gameplay like Fallout 3 was...
I might go back to it one day though. - But the added fluff like "building" your own camp/town really never resonated with me.
That is exactly what Homeworld is. Simple to pick up and play, but hard to master. It has amazing music, audio and visuals which just adds to the space-opera story of the campaign.
The original release from the 90's is still one of the best games of all time and still holds up even today a few decades later, the remaster just gives it that new coat of paint... Despite the fact that the original titles IMHO still hold up visually.
Also plenty of mods around too.
