Given the above, I expect 2023 to be even worse.

It's their own fault really. They pandered to crypto, then they raised prices sky-high because they could sell everything they built, gamers be damned.

This is a market correction and hopefully that will provide some positives for us, the consumer... Because suddenly Intel, AMD and nVidia will need to actually compete to get our coin.

Those "market corrections" can be a blessing or a curse, and sometimes even both, and the results can be unpredictable. We may end with Nvidia leaving it even more reinforced that it is right now, and that would be devasting for us, consumers.

In any case, the first one that needs to be hit hard is TSMC for raising its prices two or three times during the last couple of years, f*cking everyone else as a result. Thankfully, that seems to have started already.

Ok, guys. Other times I've asked your help when it comes to games, asking for your opinion. Now, I'll do it once again.

I've had these three games stuck in my head for a very long time, but it doesn't matter the reviews or videos I see of them, I can't make a decision one way or another.

So, I'm asking you what you think of these games, both good and bad.

  • Fallout 4_ I have a bit of experience with New Vegas, but it was the wrong game at the wrong time and it didn't work. I tried a bit of during a free weekend and it left me... I don't know, neutral, but I didn't go too far or saw too much of the game. I also have to say that I don't like too much freedom in games, because I tend to forget the point of the game and lose interest.
  • Homeworld Remastered Collection_ I like RTS games but I haven't been able to try this one, and gameplay videos don't tell much because not everybody plays strategy games the same way. Seems fun, in the way these games are, but I don't know if the third dimension makes it too complex.
  • STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order_ My biggest doubt with this one is the oposite of Fallout: games that are too linear aor have too much hand-holding become boring too fast, and this one looks to be like that. Also, I'm not a Star Wars fan. I've seen the original trilogy, and I like them, but I haven't seen any of the other movies. I only care if the game is good/fun or not, but not about how it fits the Star Wars universe or its lore nor any of that.

And well, that's it. Thanks in advance, I'll appreciate what you have to share.

I was a big fan of Fallout 1+2+3+New Vegas. I for the love of me, couldn't get into Fallout 4.

Homeworld Remastered Collection is an amazing title, in my opinion you aren't a PC gamer if you have not bought and played this title, the mechanics are fairly simple, but because of that it offers very tight gameplay.

The Story though is where Homeworld truly shines, it's simply brilliant, probably one of the most under-appreciated titles in all of gaming in my opinion.

Not a big StarWars fan to be honest.

What's your problem with Fallout 4? Too much shooting and too few RPG mechanics?

About the Homeworld collection, I'm pleased to know that the mechanics are simple. And the way you worded that makes it looks like one of those games that are "easy to pick but hard to master". In any case, I have the advantage: I'm not being a PC gamer, I'm just someone that happens to play on PC

**STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order**

I did play Jedi the Fallen order and I do like it. There's a lot of exploration, the combat and visuals are good and the story is also good. If you buy it at a discount, it's certainly worth getting but it also had the unreal engine stutter which idk if they fixed it or not. Also need to make sure you play it on an SSD.

Oh, so not every level has only one path and two persons can play it in different ways?

**Also STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order**

Falling Order is great imo but im also a SW fan so yeah . But imo i thought it was one of the best SW games since KOTOR1+2. Still doesnt beat them and is a different style of game but it was really good imo.

I... have to admit that I haven't played KOTOR either, at least yet (I bought the first one some sales ago). But I know for sure that Fallen Order and KOTOR are very, very different games.

Thanks to the three of you for sharing your opinions with me.
