Honestly, this is the most complicated entry on this list for me. My first true gaming obsession, I played only this game for over a year when I was younger and for a while it was my favorite game of all time. Obviously times have changed but its always held a very very special place in my heart and I'd always return to it semi-frequently as new cool updates came out. This year however, I didn't play at all, and tbh I don't rly like the new direction recent updates have gone and I kinda feel like its hurting the imagination aspect of Minecraft. It's such a hard game to place for me because it might be THE most defining entry here for me, especially including mods, adventure maps, servers, etc., but as of late its one I feel I've moved past. I've chosen to leave it in place this year but whether or not I have a sudden burst of interest in this game again next year or not may greatly change how I view this for my list.
