In October 2022, we shared a demo for a fan remake of the first Resident Evil game in Unity Engine. And, as you may have guessed, Capcom has sent the team a C&D letter to shut it down (alongside the fan remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica).

Well i guess that means they could be working on their own remake of CV and another remake of RE1.

They've done it with 2 and 3 and are working on a remake of the fourth one, so yes, they're most likely either working on those games or plan to do it in the near future.
