In October 2022, we shared a demo for a fan remake of the first Resident Evil game in Unity Engine. And, as you may have guessed, Capcom has sent the team a C&D letter to shut it down (alongside the fan remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica).

GSC GameWorld has released a brand new gameplay trailer for its Unreal Engine 5-powered FPS, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. This trailer packs a number of gameplay scenes, and will give you a glimpse at the game’s graphics.

December 2022 is the month of leaks. In just a month, we got the source code for Mortal Kombat 2 Arcade, as well as leaked builds of PREY 1995, and Halo 3. And the next game on the list is no other than Horizon Forbidden West.
While we won’t be sharing any links to the leaked alpha build, I’m pretty sure that most will be able to find it. This alpha build comes with a Debug Menu Unlock Code that can be unpacked with PKGEditor. Thus, modders/hackers can take a look and archive, collect and examine the game’s alpha content.

After 20-some years of working as a solo programmer, Dwarf Fortress developer Tarn Adams will have a second pair of hands in there. Bay 12 Games and publisher Kitfox have announced that due to Dwarf Fortress' success a second programmer has been hired from the longstanding Dwarf Fortress modding community.

A curious little indie launched last week, a game where you sail customizable ships across a vibrantly-colored fantasy archipelago in search of ancient secrets, battling monsters and pirates while exploring new islands. Players and developers call it something between the vibes of Wind Waker and the third-person sailing combat of games like Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, both much loved in their time.
