Nobody would care if it was just a billionaire saudi using their money to buy another piece of a market they don't have presence yet

That's the same question that arrives when Disney buys Fox, because they are from the same market. As someone who uses box office and cinema forums and boards the discussions used to be just as strong as here, although the consensus was the acquisition was not good and it would be better if Fox was still independent
