Where do you stand on Microsoft buying Activision/Blizzard?

None of these companies are good at making/managing games or development of games (or in the case Valve as of recent), they are great with their initial services (Google with Gmail/Google and Android OS, Amazon with their ecommerce site and AWS and Valve with Steam) but horrible with everything else they do outside of those aspects.

I suppose I overestimated Valve's value since they made a console. They definitely couldn't afford ABK.

But otherwise I think their studios have not been shuttered, and their games haven't been complete flops like some of MS game studios.

All Google/ Amazon would need to do is support game development/innovation and clean up the corporate culture. Otherwise they wouldn't need to have a big hand in the day to day operations.

Care to explain what games recently from Ms have been complete flops?. And like i said so your ok with any other big tech making this deal as long as it isnt Sonys direct competitor?.
