I've yet to see anyone who knows what they're talking about thinking this lawsuit is a good idea, it has been the complete opposite, multiple lawyers, former FTC commissioners and DOJ people saying essentially the same thing but some kinder than others, that this suit is crazy, completely baseless, will be incredibly hard to defend and has no facts behind it.
Have to wonder how an already low morale FTC is feeling right now, it'll only get worse if their delay tactics or hoping for CMA block don't work and Microsoft takes them down in court, wasting months of time and money.
Also they're currently being taken apart in court versus Meta for using awful evidence...It's so bad that the judge might throw the case out already.
