I just waded into that quagmire as well, wish me luck, lol. Article comments are a real gamble here, sometimes you get upvoted a ton, other times you get downvoted into oblivion. Depends on what fanbase has more people online at the time the article gets posted in my experience.

Upvotes/downvotes are a joke here lol. Being able to buy them. There was a dude who would create alts to upvote himself with suppporter status. Sad times.
