They're probably very little interested or have very little time to dive in the facts in this transaction and they act upon their gut feeling rather then objective reality. Typical politician way of doing things. Bernie is normally better than this but here he lacks the knowledge and interest to acquire it and default to typical politician behavior. I would be more interested to read about Katie Porter take on the issue, if she ever gives one, as she always (to my knowledge) take time to get a good grasp on the subject matter before forming her opinion.
